What ages do you serve?

Beelieve Occupational Therapy currently serves children 12 months through 18 years of age. Services are individualized to meet each child's unique strengths, needs, and goals. If you're unsure whether your child would be a good fit, I'd be happy to discuss your concerns during a complimentary consultation.

Where does therapy take place?

Therapy is provided in your child's natural environments, including the home, daycare, preschool, private school, ABA center, and other community settings when appropriate. Providing therapy where your child naturally learns and plays helps promote meaningful participation and carryover into everyday life.

What happens during an evaluation?

The evaluation begins with a discussion about your child's strengths, challenges, medical and developmental history, and your family's goals. Depending on your child's needs, the evaluation may include standardized assessments, clinical observations, play-based activities, and caregiver input. Following the evaluation, you'll receive recommendations and an individualized plan of care.

How long are sessions?

Initial evaluations typically last 60 minutes. Ongoing therapy sessions are generally 45–60 minutes, depending on your child's individual needs and treatment plan.

Do I need a referral?

In most cases, a physician referral is not required for private-pay occupational therapy services. If you plan to seek out-of-network reimbursement through your insurance, your insurance plan may have different requirements. If you're unsure, I'd be happy to help you determine what's needed before getting started.

How does payment work?

Beelieve Occupational Therapy is currently a private-pay practice. Payment is due at the time of service. A superbill can be provided for families who wish to seek possible out-of-network reimbursement through their insurance provider.

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This helps ensure scheduling remains as flexible as possible for all families.
